As a student-created 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we hope to empower the next generation of students to discover their passions within computer science. By providing free access to course material and our personalized curriculum which helps students navigate the world of programming, our team plans to help diversify the field of technology and help those who come from low-income and disadvantaged populations.
Since our inception, the Santa Ana Public Library and Anaheim Public Library branches have helped support the mission of CodingtoAll. These library systems have provided us with a welcoming and accommodating space, allowing us to teach library attendees weekly over the Zoom platform. Through this collaboration, we have had the privilege of engaging with students spanning a wide spectrum of ages and backgrounds which has ultimately created a diverse and enriching interactive experience that has significantly contributed to our mission.
We had the privilege of traveling to India during the summer of 2023 to teach students from rural communities more about computer science and digital security. CodingToAll was able to raise over $10k to donate PCs and other computer equipment to students at the secondary school depicted above. We continue to teach these students virtually.
